The sound came late at night
Coming through the halls
Was the night I left my bed
To the sirens of angel well
Coaxed me from my deep trance
From the tangled sheets
To the misty early morn
Upon the foggy streets
The sky was thick, churning, and blue
Branches thrashing out
And when I heard the alluring sound
I ignored the angry cloud
The moon tumbled from the sky
And crashed into my eyes
Bright silver crescents
Half opened insomnia
The sound came in the night
My need began to swell
Twas the night that I died
By the sirens of angel well
They pulled me down
And took my heart
With their shining hair
They tore my eyes apart
They took my breath
From my lungs
Sinking like a stone
Through murderous wishes
Their song still rung
The early light rose above
The tolling of the bell
My ignorance had sunk to death
